👨‍🚀 Sometimes things don’t go as planned… Unfortunately, an accident left me with several broken ribs, which means I’ll have to sit out the next rally and won’t be able to be on Yazeed side in the car. That really hurts – but sometimes these things happen. Now the focus is on recovery. 💪 I’ll do everything I can to get fit again as quickly as possible and hopefully be back in the co-driver’s seat next to Yazeed as soon as possible. Eyes forward. 👨‍🚀 Argentina is always worth a travel. Though the 2026 gig wasn’t exactly going as planned. Early on at @desafioruta40 a tree smashed our windscreen and we had to remove it mid-stage. Additional punctures along the remaining route. Nevertheless we kept going at a decent pace and worked our way back to P6 overall. We can be pleased with that. Though we had hoped for a better result – the fans here never disappoint. They are just outstanding. The route was well picked with a lot of rough sections and off-piste galore! 👨‍🚀 Scout score: 1, day’s ranking: 16. Opened up the route for most of this stage, closing in and overtaking from starting position three, pulling away by another seven minutes – we’ve got our job done properly today, though it wasn’t a big leap in the overall standings. 👨‍🚀 Dust married today … we have been spending most of the second stage of the 2026 Dakar Rally catching some dust of others, the price we had to pay for yesterdays time loss. But we finished third and are so happy with that result!
